My name is Yuqing Zou, and I also go by Maggie. I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of New Mexico – Gallup. I earned my Ph.D. in Psychological and Quantitative Foundations from the University of Iowa in 2024, majoring in Educational Psychology and minoring in Educational Measurement and Statistics.

My research interests include 

• social-contextual and motivational influences on academic outcomes, 

• precision education based on individual differences, 

• large-scale data analysis, and

• structural equation modeling and machine learning techniques.

As for my teaching interests, they encompass 

• general psychology,

• applied psychology,

• statistics and statistical software applications, and

• quantitative research methods.
